Welcome on board

I remember myself as a child riding a bike on the trails behind the backyard of my family house. After riding, I could spend hours in front of the TV watching videos of my MTB heroes and their home trails. I had only a word on my mind: Mountain bike.

In the 90s Germany was not the best place where a child could dream of becoming a pro-rider. The nearest bike park was more than three hours away and the entrance for beginners did not exist…

Pretty soon I started traveling with a very special partner: my bike. First destinations were the bike parks of Germany, then the Alpes, followed by UCC races, Mega Avalanche, Maxi Avalanche… All those spots took me to the great trails of Europe. When I enrolled the EWS I got the chance to travel around the world with the enduro family.

My dream was coming true, but I felt I was missing something…

Flying around the world and just seeing the same type of ski resorts in France, Austria or Chile was becoming boring and insufficient for me

Flying around the world and just seeing the same type of ski resorts in France, Austria or Chile was becoming boring and insufficient for me. It just was not enough. I always thought there was something more to see than just the same tracks. I wanted to meet the locals, discover the hidden secrets of each country, look for new places and created new paths. Make my own trail.

This is why I started to organize my own travels. This is how I become a traveler. This is how I became a citizen of the world.

There are only a few spots where nobody has ever been before; few corners of the world where no bike has rolled. When exploring new countries talking about mountainbiking always helps to “break the ice” and get closer to other cultures.

Why not been that crazy guy on a bike that goes to those hidden places?

I will try to take you with me on that trip to the hot spots. Wanna join me?

Canada with its endless forests, Cappadocia with the underground churches, or the Lofoten Islands where mountains rise like steep walls emerging from the clear blue waters of the Atlantic.

With this blog I will try to share with you my experiences over the last 10 years with breathtaking pictures and action-packed videos. A journey from the glaciers of Alaska to the mountains of Patagonia. A live lecture full of nature, adventure and incredible stories.
