The LT40, one of BH’s jewels
The new BH LT40 frames for time-trial – triathlon bicycles are ready for sale. The geometry of the LT40 frames is much better suited to these disciplines, and together with its high modulus monocoque fiber structure makes it a powerful ally in races and competitions.
One of its main design characteristics is that all of the lever cables, both for the brakes and cables, have been placed within the frame’s structure.
Also worth noting is the composition of the materials and the pronounced aero shape of the frame’s overall structure, making the frame more agile and helping to reduce drag (low aerodynamic resistance coefficient). The frame was developed and put on the market after passing BH’s own rigorous quality control tests and the most grueling performance testing by professional teams. It was the winner of the 2006 Vuelta a España ridden by Alexandre Vinokourov and came in third in last year’s Hawaii Ironman ridden by Eneko Llanos.
The LT40 is available with four different groupsets (Campagnolo records, Shimano dura-ace, Shimano ultegra and Shimano ultegra mix) and come in two sizes, MT (600mm) and LT (650MM). As for the peripherals, the prestigious brand FSA brings its experience in bicycle component design and development to round out a bike that is as striking in appearance as it is effective.
