Cycling on the road

Sometimes, the hardest thing for the amateur cyclist is just to get out on the road. There are several points that should never be forgotten.

- Always respect traffic signals.
-Always cycle on the right.
-Always be careful when passing parked cars, because the person inside may open his door without noticing you.
-Always stick to the same direction, and don’t go between cars in a careless manner, because drivers are not used to the presence of cyclists.
-At traffic lights, get in front of the cars to avoid the fumes.
-Always look for safe or low-risk roads, and whenever possible, use the bicycle lane.
-Always look before turning or changing lanes, and don’t turn or change lanes until you are absolutely sure that you can, or without signalling to the cars that you are about to do so.
-Lastly, always respect and look out for pedestrians, because we are as dangerous to them as cars are to us.
