Balancing muscle mass

The physical problems that cycling can cause are well known. Pedalling develops your legs, but not your thorax or arms.

This imbalance should be corrected through controlled exercise in a gym, working the rest of the body, or at least by doing exercise that focuses on the areas of the body that you don’t use during cycling. And stretching those muscles before and after a ride is also essential.
