The XC Ultimate EVO 29” MTB bike is an ultralight, ultrastiff bike with a reach from 10 to 20 mm in accordance with the size and a 68º steering angle. These new developments help optimise the balance between bike and rider. The result is a more manageable bike on descents and in technical areas.

CAREFULLY DESIGNED 840 GRAM LAYUP

The use of Toray T1100G fibres is key to achieving a weight of just 840 g in MD size, without any user weight limit. The carefully designed layup improves comfort in the seat stay and tube, increasing filtration capacity for vibrations and impacts.

STEERING ANGLE 68º

A 68° steering angle guarantees a more manageable bike on descents and in technical areas.

420 MM CHAINSTAYS

Chainstays in XC Ultimate EVO bikes are very short in order to ensure: reactivity, manoeuvrability, stiffness and improved tyre width clearance. They include a dropout with an appearance similar to road bikes: more solid and compact, reducing the width of the rear chainstays by 2 cm.

REACH 434 MM

10 to 20 mm increase in reach compared to the previous version, in accordance with size.

BLOCKLOCK STEERING

Ultimate EVO bikes are fitted with the Across BlockLock system that limits turning to 150º, protecting the down tube and preventing impact on the carbon.

FLAT MOUNT

Flat Mount technology allows us, as with road bikes, to withstand and minimise stresses, tensions and vibrations during braking.
