BH arrives at Eurobike with two Olympic gold medals and an amazing and ambitious collection for 2013

With the 2012 range, BH took two Olympic gold medals, courtesy of Julie Bresset (Ultimate) and Nicola Spirig (G5). Quite an achievement, right, but at BH we want even more. We want to continue being a reference at the forefront of the bike industry. And to make this wish come true, we have designed a 2013 collection that is full of new products, which you can admire at Hall A4 - Stand 404 at Eurobike. BH arrives at Eurobike with two Olympic gold medals and an amazing and ambitious collection for 2013

BH has prepared many surprises for Eurobike 2012, the leading show in the European bike industry, to be held in Friedrichshafen, Germany, from 29 August to 1 September. We will be introducing all the new products in the 2013 catalogue and there will be two prime ambassadors, Olympic champs Nicola Spirig and Julie Bresset, as well as their BHs and other nice things.

Road: G6, the natural evolution of a golden bike

In the sector of road bikes, the new item is the G6, the natural heir of the largely acclaimed G5, which took gold in London along with our triathlete Nicola Spirig. The G6 keeps the geometry that has performed so well, but it has lost weight and revolutionised aerodynamic features.

The frame is 30% stiffer and has the highest aerodynamic efficiency, which results in an excellent bike for long distance and triathlon racers.

The Ultralight will still be the top-notch road bike as regards weight and performance. It has retained the same impressive design as last year, and the frame tips the scale at just 720g. However, the news this year is its little sister, the Ultralight RC, a similar frame that is slightly heavier but very affordable.

Triathlon: The daughter of the wind

Another new arrival from BH that has caught everybody’s attention is the Aerolight, the high-end triathlon machine a trailer of which we could see recently. This model will be officially launched at Eurobike, after being introduced by Eneko Llanos at the Vitoria-Gasteiz World Championships and winning the silver medal there.

We used the wind tunnel in San Diego, USA, to develop the aggressive, aerodynamically designed Aerolight, which was nominated for the Eurobike Award for its special innovation and quality design. A BH bike, the highly praised NEO, got this award in the past already.

MTB: Will you dare to mount the Lynx 6?

The new Lynx 6 will be the star in the 2013 collection. The new full suspension bike from BH, which has a longer travel than its predecessor, the Lynx 4, and a brand-new rear suspension, will be officially introduced at Eurobike following its successful presentation to the media.‘A beast,’ ‘a huge step by BH’ and ‘one of the most impressive bikes today’ are some of the favourable opinions we heard at the presentation of our top-notch mountain bike.

The Lynx 6 has three carbon models and two in aluminium. The most aggressive bikers will surely love it. There will be a surprise related to this family of bikes at Eurobike.

Our full suspension bike will be just one of the surprises in the mountain bike range, since the Ultimate was redesigned ton incorporate technical improvements in the carbon version. If the previous model led Julie Bresset to the top of the podium in London 2012, just imagine what she will be able to do on the new one. Nobody will be able to stop her!

Easy Motion Series: much more a NEO

The Easy Motion Series, including our street and electric bikes, has some news too. The huge success of our Neo range led us to develop eight new models adding to the three existing ones. Now we are offering two folding bikes, two street bikes, three mountain bikes, two road bikes and one high-speed bicycle, so that we cover the whole range.

In the hybrid range, the Carbon will join the Cross at less than 19kg, and in the folding bike range, we will have two Neo Volts, one for city users and another, sportier, that is perfect for adventurous users. And there will be a new segment, that of high-speed bikes with a top speed of 45km/h, a 500W motor and a speed of 20km/h without a single pedal stroke.

Eurobike will take place from 29 August to 1 September in Friedrichshafen, Germany. We will be waiting for you at Stand 404 in Hall A4.
