GARANTIA

Carefully read and follow the recommendations for use and maintenance of this product in order to fully meet the conditions of the LifeTime Frame Warranty.

Through its authorised stores, BH Bikes provides the original buyer with a commercial policy to cover any manufacturing defects in frames for a period beyond that specified in the product's statutory warranty, pursuant to the following clauses:

  1. The LIFETIME warranty solely applies to BH frames and bikes that are sold through stores that are authorised by BHBIKES EUROPE S.L.

    • The buyer must register the LIFETIME warranty online, with the information duly completed, within 30 calendar days of the purchase date, as it appears on the invoice issued by the authorised store, on which the bike's serial no. must be specified.

    • This warranty cannot be transferred to subsequent buyers and it is cancelled when the bicycle is sold to a third party. Original buyer means the individual who registers the warranty at the time of the purchase; the commercial warranty cannot be transferred to third parties who are not the original buyer.

    • It shall be compulsory to have the bicycle serviced in an establishment that is authorised by BHBIKES and according to the instructions in the user manual.

  2. The LIFETIME warranty shall not ever cover:

    • - The rear swingarms on dual suspension models, the fork, children's bikes and Monty.

    • - If the bike has been used with the seat post installed above the minimum required height (min. insert line).

    • - Fading paintwork and a loss of original colour, or corrosion caused by normal wear and tear.

    • - Defects or breakages resulting from an accident or improper and/or negligent use of the bicycle.

    • - When components or accessories have been installed that are not intended for/compatible with the use for which the bicycle was designed.

    • - Defects resulting from improper handling.

    • - Scratches, discolouration, or stains caused by the use of abrasive fluids, sharp items, clamps and/or prolonged exposure to sunlight or other weather conditions.

    • - Defects caused by the bicycle's normal wear and tear, including those due to material fatigue. Fatigue damage is a sign that the frame has been damaged by normal use, so it is the user's responsibility to regularly inspect the bicycle.

    • - Improper use and/or maintenance of the product (carefully read the recommendations for use and cleaning).

    • - Frames that have been used in competitions, demos or as rentals.

  3. Observations:

    • - Acceptance of the warranty is ultimately subject to the decision of the BH BIKES Technical Service, after a detailed analysis has been performed to determine the nature and cause of the defect.

    • - The warranty does not ever cover any personal injury and/or property damage that arises directly or indirectly from normal use of the bicycle.

    • - Any shipping and labour costs that arise from enforcing this warranty shall be borne by the user.

    • - During the term of this warranty, BH shall repair any frame or, if it so decides, replace any damaged frame with another of the same model or of the most similar model available, excluding the replacement of any components that are not compatible with the replaced frame. Only the bicycle's frame shall be replaced or repaired.

    • - If it is replaced and/or repaired, the original colour of the replaced frame is not guaranteed.

    • - This warranty extension shall only be valid for bicycles from the 2014 range and later.

    • - All claims under this warranty must be made through an official BH dealer.

    • - If a replacement is provided, the product being replaced becomes the manufacturer's property.
