LYNX RACE

EVOLVED

The partnership between BH's R&D team and the BH Coloma Team has allowed us to optimise the geometry and kinematics of the Lynx Race for 120 mm of travel while maintaining excellent performance with 100 mm of travel.

A slightly relaxed steering angle, a more upright seat tube, a longer reach and a lower steering tube for fully optimised geometries.

LIGHTWEIGHT

The Lynx Race range has been built like all of BH's high-end frames; using Hollow Core Internal Moulding (HCIM) technology, allowing us to minimise the weight of the frame and the rocker link. We use high modulus carbon fibres (T1100 and T800) - Evo Carbon Lay Up, Performace Carbon Lay Up - which provide outstanding lightness and stiffness for the frame. With the new paint finish, part of the frame features exposed carbon fibres in different colour combinations.

+ STIFFNESS

The stiffness of the joint between the rear triangle and swingarm has been improved by 35% on the new Lynx Race, thanks to the new spindle design on the rocker link and the oversized main pivot axle.

This stiffness not only increases pedalling efficiency when standing upright on the bike, but also increases handling precision on downhill trails.

Outstanding pedalling efficiency without the open position of the shock absorber interfering with pedalling, resulting in better traction and making optimal use of your energy.

THE SPLIT PIVOT REAR SUSPENSION, THE BEATING HEART OF THE LYNX RACE

It allows the three forces to act on the bicycle separately.

PEDALLING 100% pedalling efficiency, the more you accelerate, the more efficient your pedalling.

BRAKING The suspension system operates during braking, so the wheel is always touching the ground.

SUSPENSION Very sensitive to small impacts and high capacity for absorbing large impacts.

WE TAKE CARE OF EVERY LITTLE DETAIL

Thesaddle clamp has been integrated into the top tube to achieve a cleaner and more minimalist design.

Designed to fit 2.4" .

The Blocklock Across system has a turning radius limited to 150º and it protects the down tube, preventing any impact on the carbon.

Our FIT system includes all of the necessary tools to allow you to get back home if there is a fault. The H2.5/3/4/5/6, T25, chain tool, CO2 adaptor and quick-release chain are all included.
