MONTY WARRANTY
5-YEAR WARRANTY ON YOUR MONTY MOTOR
If you have purchased a MONTY cargo bike or tricycle with a motor, don’t forget to register the warranty through our online platform to activate the 5-year coverage on your motor. Make sure to complete all the required information within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase.
Below, we provide all the details about our 5-year coverage for Monty motors. At the bottom, you can start the activation process.
5-YEAR WARRANTY ON MONTY MOTORS
Read carefully and follow the usage and maintenance recommendations for this product to properly apply the conditions of the MONTY Motor Warranty.
MONTY Bikes provides the original purchaser, through its authorized points of sale, a warranty policy for possible manufacturing defects in the motor, for a period longer than the legal warranty indicated for the product, according to the following clauses:
- The purchaser must have registered the warranty through the online platform, with the information properly completed, within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase, corresponding to the invoice issued by the authorized point of sale, which must indicate the bike's serial number.
- This warranty is not transferable to second purchasersand is canceled at the moment of sale of the bicycle/trike to a third party. The original purchaser is understood to be the one who registers the warranty at the time of purchase and cannot transfer the commercial warranty to persons other than the original purchaser.
- Maintenance of the bicycle/trike must be carried out at an establishment authorized by MONTY Bikes and in accordance with the instructions in the user manual.
Observations:
- Acceptance of the warranty is ultimately subject to the decision of MONTY Bikes' Technical Service, after a detailed analysis to determine the nature and origin of the defect.
- The shipping and labor costs incurred in applying this warranty shall be borne by the user.
- During the warranty period, Monty will repair any motor or, at its discretion, replace the motor with another of the same model or a similar model available, excluding the replacement of components that are not compatible with the replaced motor. Only the motor of the bicycle/trike will be replaced or repaired.
- All claims subject to this warranty must be processed through an official Monty distributor.
- In case of replacement, the removed product becomes the property of the manufacturer.
- Limited to 5 years from the date of the original purchase invoice of the product.
